Chris has been photographing dance and performance since leaving Goldsmiths School Of Art in 1980, where he studied Fine Art.  Through his touring exhibitions he has built an international reputation as "Our most imaginative interpreter of Dance."  The Guardian.  The majority of his work is in the studio, crafting beautifully lit images for publicity posters, brochures and programmes, but he is equally at home in the theatre, photographing live on stage for production shots and front-of-house. He was awarded an MBE in the 2022 New Year Honours List for services to dance and photography.
